  • The “Kojiki” was written in 712

The “Kojiki” was written in 712

In mythology, there is a story about a god who healed a wounded rabbit.

The god used a medicine he had.

The Kojiki was written in 712.

So this story is much earlier.

It seems that there were medicines in Japan such a long time ago.

It is a very interesting story.

  • Japan has mythologies

    Japan has mythologies

Japan has mythologies, and there are “Kojiki” and “Nihonsyoki”, books that summarize these mythologies.

The hero of the mythology is, of course, a god.

However, when we study ancient history,

we can understand that mythological characters are human beings, people who actually existed.

In Japan, there is a culture that after the death of a person who has served society,

that person is worshipped as a god.

It is a very interesting story.

Ancient Japanese history and Oriental medicine

    My specialty is Oriental medicine.
It is said that Oriental medicine was introduced to Japan with Buddhism around 500 A.D. and developed from there.
However, when I look into the ancient history of Japan, it seems that Oriental medicine existed in Japan much earlier.
I would like to study the ancient history of Japan again.
